Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani says Washington's aggressive policies toward Pakistan and Syria will have dire consequences.

“The US should not think that its mischievous measures would remain without any consequence,” IRNA quoted Larijani as saying on Wednesday.

“Over the last two months, the US has repeatedly attacked Pakistan and killed dozens of Pakistanis under the pretext of fighting terrorism,” Iran's Parliament Speaker added.

“This time the US has committed a crime against Syria…this measure represents a new adventurism by the US in the Middle East,” Larijani said.

Such US aggressions would be prevented only through a strong response, Larijani stressed.

On Sunday, commandoes aboard four US military helicopters crossed the border and attacked the Syrian village of Sukkariyah. Eight civilians were killed in the attack and 14 others were wounded.
